- A Mother's Prayer Request With Pastor Rudney Bartolome's Selected
Readings from the Holy Bible
Please pray for my son, he is a marijuana user and
I am so worried about him. He has just become a father. He has a
beautiful baby boy. He is great dad and loves his son so much and
takes wonderful care of him. When he was in college, he was arrested
for possession of marijuana, the prosecuting attorney gave him a
second chance and dropped the charges down to a misdeamenor and had
him do community service. He had stopped using and decided to turn
things around for himself and decided that he would become a police
officer, he was so excited about joining the academy and that is all
he spoke of. He had stopped one day and talked to an police officer
about joining the force. He had asked him about the misdeamenor
charge and the office told him to give it up they would never allow
him on the force, he then went back to drugs. My son was crushed. I
pray for my son everyday that his use of marijuana will stop. That he
will see that God wants better things for him, I have tried to talk to
him but he tells me that it takes his worries away and doesn't want to
talk about it. His heart was broke when that officer gave him the
news that he would never make it. I am so afraid that he will get in
trouble again and next time he won't get another chance like the
first. Please pray for him, help him find the way to go through like
without the drugs. Please pray that he will put God back into his
heart and see that his son and his own life are worth so much more
than drugs. Please pray to take this devil hold from him. Thank you
for your prayers...Connie

cannot tell: God knoweth;)

- How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable
words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
- 2 Corinthians 12:5

in mine infirmities.
- 2 Corinthians 12:6
- For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I
will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me
above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:7
- And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance
of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the
messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above
measure.

- For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart
from me.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my
strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I
rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon
me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:10
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in
necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for
when I am weak, then am I strong.
